Bio: I was born and raised in Windsor and have been a lifelong city core resident. I attended St. Angela elementary school, Catholic Central High School and the University of Windsor. With my wife Anastasia I have 3 young boys; Jack, Charlie and Wilson. We have made a conscious decision to raise our family here in the heart of the city. Our kids attend Queen Victoria Public School where I am an active member of the parent Council. I coach my son Jack’s soccer team as well as an assistant coach for my son Charlie’s T-ball team. I also run a small business in downtown Windsor called the Black Kettle Bistro. Throughout my years as a small business owner I have been a strong supporter of local charities and participated in many local endeavours, believing that grass roots change is what has the most immediate impact on quality of life at the municipal level. I am a strong supporter of, and was a vendor at, the Downtown Windsor Farmer’s Market in 2009. I believe that we must continue the great work being done to progress the local food movement. Having owned multiple businesses in the city core and having dealt first hand with the stress of being a small business owner I have a unique perspective to some of the issues facing our ward and downtown especially. My parents immigrated here hoping to pass along a better quality of life for their children. I hope to do the same while instilling a strong sense of pride and admiration for the city we call home.
